OMGMA MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES
Purpose:
The Ohio Medical Group Management Association (OMGMA) is a leadership organization dedicated to the continuous personal development of professionals in medical practice management through education.
Benefits of OMGMA Membership:
Education - Through annual conferences, webinars, newsletters and email communications, OMGMA strives to keep members informed of health care trends, issues and legislation in Ohio and nationwide. Our educational meetings are opportunities to network and exchange information among other members, as well as hear from nationally known speakers and business community leaders. Additionally, our conferences and webinars are a great place to earn certification and CEUs through ACMPE, the American College of Practice Executives.
Networking - Interacting with other medical managers in our state who face similar responsibilities and challenges is one of the most important benefits of OMGMA membership. A wide variety of specialists are represented in our membership, and each specialty has its own unique concerns. Our conferences provide a great opportunity to share lessons learned from other healthcare professionals.
Products and Services - Our Business Associate members provide access to information, products, and services that support medical practices. OMGMA members are kept on the cutting edge of the medical field by access to the latest technology and developments in computer hardware and software, banking, legal, and accounting services, medical and office equipment and supplies, lab, x-ray, and other ancillary services. Our conferences afford you the ability to research, access and interact with industry suppliers.
Our Active Membership Includes - CEOs/CFOs, Partners, Vice Presidents and Directors, Practice Administrators, Practice Office and Billing Managers, Billing and Collections Staff. Your Peers represent private and academic practices, ambulatory surgical and community health centers, health care delivery systems and management services organizations from across our state. Our membership crosses all clinical specialties.

ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP: DUES $75
To be eligible as an ACTIVE member of the OMGMA, a person shall be the full-time employee of a medical group practice consisting of three (3) or more physicians and located within the boundaries of the State of Ohio. The person must perform managerial duties in multiple areas, administrative tasks in single areas, or perform patient care and significant managerial or administrative functions within the practice.

BUSINESS ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP: DUES $175
To be eligible as a BUSINESS ASSOCIATE member of the OMGMA, a person must be an employee, owner or partner of an organization involved in the supply of products, services or education to ambulatory health care professionals within the boundaries of the State of Ohio.

STUDENT MEMBERSHIP: FREE
To be eligible as a STUDENT member of the OMGMA, a person must be pursuing a university degree at a university within the boundaries of the State of Ohio.

No one may be denied membership because of race, sex, religion, color or creed.
Membership renewal is effective on January 1st of each year. First year members pay the full membership dues, which also covers the cost of initial processing.
